We had a BMW Series 1 for three years on a PCP. At the end of three years you can buy the car or hand it back. We decided to hand it back. Two weeks of trying to get through to them to get a date for collection, even the dealership has the same trouble. They had to collect the car from the dealership because we couldn't have a full day off work and they refused to give us an approximate time.. Weeks later we got a bill (to be paid within 7 days) for damage outside of 'fair wear and tear'. The car was in great condition for it's age, under mileage and with four brand new tyres. They charged us for dents under the front bumper which we can only assume were stone chips - how is this not fair wear and tear? Two of the wheels were badly scraped so we had them professionaly repaired beforehand by an approved repairer - they charged us for scrapes which were definitely not there. We would never deal with them again they are arrogant in their treatment of customers and their customer service is non existent. PCP's with this company are fine if you get another car at the end of it, but if you plan to hand it back - be warned because it will cost you! Would never deal with BMW again.
